How I decided to write a blog and my interests
In the beginning of June, I listened to a Masterclass from my friends at Food Matters Institute where I got my Certification as a Nutrition Coach about how to start a business. Last year, when I joined the program I didn’t think about ever wanting to open a business but I did choose this program not only because it appealed to me as it resonated with my values and beliefs but also because it gives a certification that is also valid in the country I live in – Spain.
So when I listened to the webcast with advices on how to launch an online business I was thinking that all the signs I have listened in the last few weeks are the ones that finally made me listen to something related to business. I promise, I am not “flower power” and not crazy voodoo lady. In fact I am the opposite, I am (or at least this is how I always saw myself, a very down to earth person, more focused on science than anything else and someone that when anyone was saying something like “ the universe made that we had or saw this” I was thinking something like “yeah right… people are going crazy with spirituality and believing in the fact that the universe cares what is happening in our day to day lives”.
However, the past years were so transformational for me and I still think I am “on the bridge” as one of my favourite motivational speaker says (Mel Robbins – listen to her Podcast called “Reinvent your life on Audible” and you will understand what I mean).
So, when I got to thinking what am I even going to write on this blog, there were quite a few things that crossed my mind in just a few seconds:
- First, I have no idea how to write a blog, where would I even start. I am not a writer, I am a logical person not a “bla-bla” person. I always thought of my self that I am not able to write stories in high-school when we were asked to write resumes for the books we were supposed to read because I am too “logical” and the only thing I can do it to write the most important ideas of the books, a few lines (as actually I am writing here :)) and that’s it
- Second, what I am going to write? I studied nutrition for some time now but only during the past year or so I decided to take a real course and I don’t consider myself an expert because I still feel like I have so many things to learn and this field is constantly changing. However, I believe I have a lot of knowledge already that I feel the need to share with others
- Third, I have a full time job and between that, my dog and my own journey to healing… when will I ever write?
So, I am following the advice of Elizabeth Rider, the lady invited to the Masterclass by Food Matters Institute and I am just starting to write … and later let’s see what comes out.
To keep this short (although probably this is already too long and I will have to edit it before posting – if it will ever be posted) and tell you which are my interests:
- Nutrition: I want to eat as healthy as possible and to spread the word as wide as I can so that as many people have the information I have and have the results I have gotten
- AIP (AutoImmune Paleo/Protocol): which I followed after discovering an autoimmune disorder (cardiolipin antibodies – which can cause arterial thrombosis) in order to lower these antibodies and also lower inflammation
- Fertility (as opposed to infertility which sounds more bleak than it should) as I have been on this journey for the past 10 years (here the reason why I say I am still on the bridge)
- Mindset which speaks for itself and I will go on deeper in future posts to tell you what I have learned
- Wellness in general
